Buffy: How bored were you last year? Giles: I watched 'Passions' with Spike. Let us never speak of it.

'Beneath You'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Our wings are not tired

Any more discussion on the dates for the F2F? I'd like to announce a date for it by 5 PM Pacific Time on Wednesday. Right now May 21-22 looks like the weekend we're headed for.

Okay, I'm not entirely falling down on the job. Info about using the elevator to the hosp. suite was posted with the Press announcement on the hotel, rooms, etc.

Any volunteers to beta the 2005 RFP, please? I've revised it, want to sleep on it before ND posts, and would like another pair of eyes on it first. E me at profile addy.

eta: I grabbed the remainder of the box of name tags on the last sweep of the hospitality suite. Thanks for doing the tags, Steph!

Man, I miss the free form brainstorming hey-kids-let's-put on a show get-together-here energy that was here just last week! What happened?

Raquel, info about the Mediterrean kayaking heading your way.

Matt, where would you want to go, if we did get 6 people together for a Windjammer? I'd consider it. I've done the Grenadines and some of the US Virgin Islands. The BVIs would be cool.

The status is NOT quo.

Java, did you get my email re: this summer?

Also, I'd be totally down for the Windjammer. I have always wanted to go on one.

move out and draw fire

I have no vote for the real F2F, since I won't be in the US, but I too am totally down for the Windjammer, if and when.

Hey! I found my camera! too late for the F2F

Java, thanks for the kayaking info. That would be a very cool experience.

Woot!

Raquel, we should go even if everyone else poops out on us!

I did, Kristin, thanks! How many folks have RSVPd to your East Coast F2F, if you don't mind sharing? I'm way behind on my travel-planning. I need to get a flight to Seattle around the same time Lee and ND will be there. While I'm there, I hope to meet up with a Port Townsend friend to - you guessed it - go kayaking.

Oops, Rachel, I got sidetracked en route to forward the email. Will do now. eta: looks like my friend's trips are around Italian islands.

Excellent. Let me know once you've ironed out plans.

In terms of numbers, it's early for definites, but I have between 15-20 "probably" replies.

When we get closer (early July), I'll post a list of attendees to make sure I have everyone and I'll Nilly back to the original post with info about the party to see if I'll pick up any stragglers.

On top of the Buffistas, we usually have another 20 or so friends from this area who come, but none of them will be coming early or staying the night.

It's a blast!

To tell the truth, I never even considered destination islands. I figure between the company and the boat, I'll be happy as long as no tropical storms blow up and we don't get left behind on Haiti. I wonder if they sail to Martinique?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Matt, I would love to do the Windjammer cruise thing, depending on when it is we go. In January (a nice time to visit warmer climes, methinks), you get two freebies for every six people.

Edit: After looking more at the site, the more I really, really would love to do this.
