I just checked the date Poll and we only got one more vote over the past two days, so it's looking like every that's gonna vote has voted. Today is the day we're closing it too.
Right now May 21-22 is the clear leader with June 4-5 being second.
I'd really like to nail the date down and announce it. What problems do we have with saying May 21-22?
Well, I often have trouble with basic phonemes.

I'll ask for permission and then give him a list of phone numbers closer to the day. If I did it now, he'd lose them.

Want a huge can of worms? We just found out yesterday that the Firefly movie opens on April 22. Should we consider reopening the discussion/poll to allow for seeing opening day as a group? Or just let it go?

Well.... I think the 21st may be early enough that some people are still in classes or finals, so I think saying none is a bit premature.
However, I'm not sure everybody who has to worry about classes will be out by the 4th, so maybe we should give it another day or two to discuss in-thread. Can we announce a solid date some time next week, and still be okay with everything? (Some people don't check in on weekends, either)
Deena, make sure the packing's done before you hand it to him. I have a piece of paper with a couple important phone numbers somewhere in my stuff.
Personally, I don't want the F2F to be centered around Firefly. But that's just me.

We talked about earlier a little bit and it seems the consensus was that going much earlier makes things very difficult for the teacher/student types on the board.

This may be true, but it's the weekend we landed on this year, and it seemed to work pretty well for many of our student types.
