F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I'm getting the pig!

Nicole, looking like no problem.

Was worried you'd be stacked to the ceilings with stay-over buffistas. Which could also be much fun but I wanted to make sure a corner would be available.

This is a stack I'd want to be in. Can I make requests for who I'm stacked between?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I know of at least one person who I have promised crash space too, in addition to Nilly, of course, but I might still be able to house one or two more people as well. They can't be allergic to cats however.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

a ton of grand ass theater (did i mention that?), a fantabulous downtown scene, some rocking theater (i may be repeating), great food, the best asian restaurants anywhere, and juliana.

Juliana, all the fun things to do sound fabulous, but you being there is definitely the very best part.

Swouncing

t Poking head

You guys have no idea - it's tomorrow in a minute here, and it's the second night in a row I'm staying here until the wee hours of the night in order to try to finish the evil exercise that wouldn't end (it's due tomorrow, um, I mean, today-in-a-minute). So I can't take part in the conversation, even though I have lots to say, becauseI have to, well, study, or make sad faces at the pages, whatever is more efficient. And the one thing that keeps my very tired mood high right now, are the posts in this thread. You're the bestest, and tomorrow, when I can, I'll respond (and enjoy myself so much in doing that!

t Going *poof*

[Edit: no, before that: I can easily sleep on anything, and I mean that - I'd rather sleep on two joint chairs if it means somebody else will get where to stay and I'll get to meet him/her! And now, for real, *poof*]

No playing favorites. You'll take what you get and like it!

Aw. It's so cute the way Nilly thinks she will be treated in any way less than royalty during her stay.

Isn't it though?

Our wings are not tired

So, I'm going to be topic dude and post another item that we need to talk about for F2F 2005. The Dates.

I know that it seems very very far off, but the reality is to talk to hotels and do all those other fun things we need to look at dates. Also, once they are set then folks can do what they need to do to try to schedule around them. I know that some people can't decide their schedules this far out. There are others for whom the earlier the date is chosen the better so that they can lock out the dates. If we wait some folks get hurt, if we choose early we might lose others. The reality is we gain a lot by having our dates chosen when we are dealing with hotels. This is even more the case if we want to explore booking an entire hotel as we talked about for this year. So, with that being said, the two weekends that look best and keep it in sync with this year's and last year's dates are:

May 14 and May 21

These are both Saturdays and would be the date of the prom. The weekend before those is Mother's Day Weekend, the one after is Memorial day weekend.

Let's start kicking this around. I'd like to see dates chosen in the next couple of weeks.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Shoot. The 14th is in the middle of finals, and the 22nd is graduation. I think it's more likely that I'd be able to make the 14th, so I'll tentatively say that the 14th looks better for me.
