Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I can't even.

Sean, I'd love to come visit. There's that time and money permitting thing. Depending on the timing, I may have to try to catch Nilly at the NY end of her trip.

It's the Great Wet North today, after yesterday being one of those low 70s, sunny, light breeze-days that I'd like to bottle.

You'll love this: the word is "toque", from the French, natch (we would have had hours of fun with "Fool of a Toque!" when I was a kid). I've never been a good wearer of toques, even as a young'un. But then, I don't wear a jacket when I should either.

Take off, to the Great White North...

Ha! I knew there was something about the spelling. I used to know the correct way too, hailing from Michigan originally, but the Los Angeles sun does something to the memory I think.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The timing actually works out better for me to go see Nilly in California, but the money things seems to be making NYC look like the more logical choice. But still, even if I'll just be able to spare one day, Nilly's going to be here! Yay! Nilly, I'm getting so excited for you now.

Well, someone isn't paying attention. (though no Juiliana certainly is poutworthy.)

Bad Sherpa, no biscuit.

Oooh! How cool would it be to get Hil in Cali? Very.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

See, I'm going to be between leases August 20 to September 1, and I thought one solution would be to store my stuff somewhere and take a little vacation, except I'm already going on a cruise with my family earlier in August, and it probably wouldn't be nice to take two big chunks of time off from lab so close to each other. That would be around NYC-time, right? Could work, in an ideal world.

I got there first. Might happen later in the year. Next year, with a whole new slate of vacation and budget? For sure.

Yeah, it erases totally irrelevant information, like what to call hats that you only wear when it is freezing out.

Thrive to spite them

I'm definitly going to see if I can get the money together for some leg of Nilly's trip. It would probably just be the East Coast leg but I'm going to see what I can do.
