F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Our wings are not tired.

t natter I am old enough to recall the time that pantyhose became regularly available. When I was a girl we all wore garter belts. I still remember the uncomfortable indents in my then skinny legs from the stupid garments. It was a wonderful day the first time I wore pantyhose. t /natter

Sniff. I"m so sad that I felt like crap last night and went to BED instead of to Anne's. I went to bed at 7PM.

BUT, I figure that's pre-emptive sleep for this weekend, right? Now I can go wihtout for the rest of the weekend, yeah?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm sitting in the lobby of the hotel, waiting for Ed to come down. I spent last night at Lyra Jane's, so I can't check in for hours. They have wireless in the lobby, AIFG.

Last night's BBQ at Anne's was really great, getting to know new people, and seeing people I had already met again, and laughing a lot. Mostly at MM, but some other stuff too. Both Anne and Lyra Jane are great hostesses, and Lyra Jane's husband is really funny, and fits in with the Buffistas very well, as does Bicyclop's wife.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I. Forgot. My. Clie. At. Home.

Did I remember to bring 5 outfits for Prom, in case I change my mind? Oh, yes. Did I remember to bring a backgammon board so that I can finally play a game or two with La Tep? Naturally! And extra shoes, and a Fairy Jasmine bath bomb, and a million other relatively trivial items? Of course!

But my PDA, which I carry with me every day, and has loads of vital and otherwise useful information? No, that's sitting in its cradle on my desk. My desk at home. Where I am not. I half expect to come home on Sunday and find my brain lying there next to it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm here! Checked in, went and grabbed some coffee and a bagel, and now I think it's time for a nap. Are there/will there be lunch plans?

ETA: Lee, I checked in about ten minutes before you posted about not being able to check in. Huh. And damn, I must have missed you and Ed in the lobby by minutes.

Also, the internet connection in my room does have a cable, so if anyone needs one for the weekend, I've got an extra.

Heh. I have no plans for the rest of the day other than "mosey over to the hotel at some point once we've been allowed to check into the hospitality suite", and "get Sean at some point since he's staying here".

However, "clean the house so anyone who sees it isn't screaming in horror" seems to be a good idea too.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

There ARE plans for lunch. They are fuzzy, but they are plans.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

There ARE plans for lunch. They are fuzzy

Peaches for lunch?

Oh, sure, hint at fuzzy plans, but don't tell us what they ARE...

I was going to eat breakfast. I'd showered and dressed and gone to the CVS, and was very hungry and poured my milk on my cereal and took a bite and EWWWWWWWWWWWW. Not so much.

So all I've had is strawberries. Not as filling.
