We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Just a note on both the spy museum and the Holocaust Museum--make sure you either get tickets ahead of time (can you really do so online? if so, I suggest soon) or get there early in the morning. They are very popular, and tickets to see the main museums sell out early.

So says the girl that trooped around DC to see both and both times managed to get there after all the main tickets had been sold last fall.

Also, Holli--add to the list of comfort for the 'rents: Nationally Certified high school English teacher here. Just led a group of teenagers to England and back without losing a one. Passed background checks and all as well.

DO NOT FORGET TIARAS, CROWNS, ETC!! PACK THEM NOW!!

i never got mine

I reminded your tiara-er. Sternly. Perhaps I will do so again now.

Yo! Person who was to have bestowed a tiara upon smonster in the fall 2003 tiara exchange: you will BOTH be at the F2F! Mayhap it would be a good time to bestow said tiara.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You're really digging this whole power deal, aren't you?

Well, on the tiara issue, I feel bad for smonster. Having said that, the tiara-er, like many Buffistas, has had an unfuckingbelievably stressful past 6 months (maybe 9?), so I'm not trying to be a horrible bitch.

Just a reminder, and it is a convenient time to bestow a tiara, since they'll both be at the F2F.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

And, if they neglect to bestow the tiara(s), Steph can give them a truly humiliating name, right?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Or something that will make them long for the simple dignity of "Woodgrain".

Shit's all sorts of different now.

"Woodgrain" is a perfectly good name!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm going to visit the Constitution and see if it's still there.

Our wings are not tired.

The last time I visited the Constitution was not there. I think they had it out for a rewrite.

I am actually going clothes shopping with Brendon tonight. I HATE shopping with a passion. The thing is, the last half dozen or so times I had to dress up I borrowed stuff from friends because my dressy stuff is in a size that I can't wear. Perhaps if I break down and buy something in my actual size it will someday sit in the closet as too big.

I don't see myself doing too much touristy stuff because I have done so a few times and will do so again in the future with the kids. I'm thinking more along the relaxing lines. I can't wait to take a breather from the work pressure.

Also, grumble, I took a late flight so Brendon could make a meeting and today the meeting was cancelled. Grrr.
