Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You're really digging this whole power deal, aren't you?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Well, on the tiara issue, I feel bad for smonster. Having said that, the tiara-er, like many Buffistas, has had an unfuckingbelievably stressful past 6 months (maybe 9?), so I'm not trying to be a horrible bitch.

Just a reminder, and it is a convenient time to bestow a tiara, since they'll both be at the F2F.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

And, if they neglect to bestow the tiara(s), Steph can give them a truly humiliating name, right?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Or something that will make them long for the simple dignity of "Woodgrain".

Shit's all sorts of different now.

"Woodgrain" is a perfectly good name!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm going to visit the Constitution and see if it's still there.

Our wings are not tired.

The last time I visited the Constitution was not there. I think they had it out for a rewrite.

I am actually going clothes shopping with Brendon tonight. I HATE shopping with a passion. The thing is, the last half dozen or so times I had to dress up I borrowed stuff from friends because my dressy stuff is in a size that I can't wear. Perhaps if I break down and buy something in my actual size it will someday sit in the closet as too big.

I don't see myself doing too much touristy stuff because I have done so a few times and will do so again in the future with the kids. I'm thinking more along the relaxing lines. I can't wait to take a breather from the work pressure.

Also, grumble, I took a late flight so Brendon could make a meeting and today the meeting was cancelled. Grrr.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Goes to stand in Laura's corner, ignoring the pile of work I am going to have to bring with me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

"Sparkles" checking in here. I will be bringing extra tiaras, but someone may want to bring bobby pins.

I want to go to the Wall. I've never been, and I have a couple of names I'd like to pay my respects to. I don't think I can handle the Holocaust Museum this time in DC, but I'd like to check out the Spy Museum, maybe. Where I really want to go is to the dinosaur wing of the Smithsonian. And Lush. Other than that? I'm easy.

In other news? Ssssscore! Little black crepe number for Prom, $5.00. Couldn't decide between the sapphire and the emerald satin shirts to use as a wrap, got both, $7.50. Total? $12.50. I will not, however, be wearing fishnets or heels.
