Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

*I* will wear my cherry dress and a hot-pink wig.

You're practically Sydney Bristow already.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Teppy has much better dimples than Jennifer Whatsis does. Also? Teppy doesn't have the chipmunk mouth thing going on.

I do, however, boggle at the pink wig. It's almost too cool.

Ah!

t clutches Garner-love to chest

t edit Seriously. I am thinking of dragging Reema to go see 13 Going on 30 just because I am so goofily enthralled by that actor. It's because I'm doing a S3 Sydney vid right now, and keep slo-mo scrolling through all the various shapes her mouth makes, and the interesting facial expressions she manages to give us even in the face of some awful, awful dialogue. And when it's good! It's good.

Liz, I'm actually rather a Garner fan as well - for one thing, we agree on the objects of our jock-affection. Alias never grabbed me, though.

I just think Teppy's hotter.

Our wings are not tired

Is there wireless access for free in all the hotel rooms?

I believe it is wired, however I'm planning on setting up my spare iBook as a wireless gateway in the Hosp. Suite, so we should have wireless broadband in there at least.

move out and draw fire

Hil and Java and others as interested, the Corcoran is near Foggy Bottom. The exhibit right now is Norman Rockwell, but they've got some other good stuff. There's a small private collection on Wisconsin in G-town, a few blocks up from M Street...can't remember the name, but I think it starts with a "P."

I want in on the Spy Museum! I've wanted to go for a while, but haven't. It's probably the most expensive of museums here (but since most are free, that's not saying a lot). The Spy Museum is near the Folger, the LoC, and the Postal Museum, sort of, although most of those are nearer Union Station (and the hotel) than the Spy Museum. What's REALLY near it is Jaleo, for tapas.

Yay!!! Java's here!!! She didn't get locked onto the Dulles Toll Road from Hell, spat onto the Beltway, and cursed to circle DC for days!

Swouncing

t Tiptoing in

So, I just subscribed to this thread. It doesn't mean that I think there should be pictures and stories already, I know that the 'official' F2F doesn't start until at least Friday. It's just that I like the anticipation part so very much, and seeing the thread title on my Message Center helps in that.

Have safe easy trips to DC, everybody, and lots of fun and then some!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Surely there must be dark corners somewhere in the building. I need to find a raincoat, and a hat.

I was thinking a tuxedo and a martini, but maybe that's just me, Machina, DXMachina.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

For Friday, I plan to bring the Post's Weekend section - it lists museums and what's showing in them, as well as addresses and hours. The museum on Wisconsin, Raquel - are you thinking of the Phillips? that's near Dupont Circle. There's Dumbarton Oaks, which is off Wisconsin - Q or R Street, if I remember correctly.

And .. for the Georgetown shopping trip - not only is there a Lush, but right across the street is a Sephora and a MAC. Right down the street - one block - is a Kiehls.
