F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

So, I just subscribed to this thread. It doesn't mean that I think there should be pictures and stories already, I know that the 'official' F2F doesn't start until at least Friday. It's just that I like the anticipation part so very much, and seeing the thread title on my Message Center helps in that.

Have safe easy trips to DC, everybody, and lots of fun and then some!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Surely there must be dark corners somewhere in the building. I need to find a raincoat, and a hat.

I was thinking a tuxedo and a martini, but maybe that's just me, Machina, DXMachina.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

For Friday, I plan to bring the Post's Weekend section - it lists museums and what's showing in them, as well as addresses and hours. The museum on Wisconsin, Raquel - are you thinking of the Phillips? that's near Dupont Circle. There's Dumbarton Oaks, which is off Wisconsin - Q or R Street, if I remember correctly.

And .. for the Georgetown shopping trip - not only is there a Lush, but right across the street is a Sephora and a MAC. Right down the street - one block - is a Kiehls.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'm in for the pool/darts expedition Fri. night. Um, the block where the pool hall and the kareoke bar are, where is that in relation to the hotel? I am not bringing my car, and I want to know if I'll need to catch a ride to/from pool.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Insent to Sean K, and also to Kate P.

I will be able to ferry those staying at my place to the hotel and back, although the Friday morning trip may be a wee bit cramped.

I have a nasty feeling that I'm going to have a very hard time choosing between different activities.

That's always the problem.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Teppy, don't remember what (if anything) i sent Vortex, or thus what she sent you--can my nametag just say meara? No RL name. And not Meara.

Check. meara, no upper-case M.

I'm drunk with power!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does either the darts/pool bar or karaoke bar serve food beyond bar snacks? I don't need a three course meal, just something more substantial than mixed nuts.

As usual, I'm torn between sushi and tapas for dinner on Saturday.

I do, however, boggle at the pink wig. It's almost too cool.

It's not a Run Lola Run wig -- it's long pink braids.

Now, let's not get revisionist -- I threw up on the El *platform.* Whole different vibe.
