I am back in town, and feeling oddly disappointed to have not seen a SINGLE CICADA. What's up with that?? I guess it's living in the city and not the burbs. (On careful listening, I do seem to vaguely hear them, in my apartment, but they're quite drowned out by the cars and sirens, so it's not obvious)

And I'm still wanting to karaoke Friday night!!! Saturday, I'm up for whatever, though probably more for the shopping expeditions (i've still never been to Lush, even though there's one in Georgetown. And since there's also a Sephora and an H&M there...)

This is tough. I want to play pool (which I would do badly) and watch karaoke.

Lee, that's why we suggested the karaoke bar and the sportspub (with pool tables) that are on the same (small) block. So people could go back and forth at will. Also, right near the metro, so people could easily say "I'm tired, I dont' wanna wait for y'all to come get me/take me back to the hotel, i'm going/coming!"

Friday is when Ann is hosting a welcoming BBQ, fyi. I plan to go to that. Hil, I just checked and no email from you. I'm fading. I hope to be able to use Raquel computer tomorrow, or get a print out of Vortex's list. I haven't had/taken the time to train the cell phone to do voice mail yet, so mine isn't exactly terribly usefule except to call out, right now. G'night all! Sweet dreams of museums.
