Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

You are a sweetheart, ND. I guess "Girl Anachronism" or "Truce".

but I did see Amanda Palmer in an amateur lesbian porn video a few years ago.

Hm.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Raquel: Yes indeed the cicadas are here. Not awful yet, but here. DC's under attack by al-Cicada.

Aha! True WMDs! Weapons of Massive Disgust.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

One of the editorial cartoons in the NYTimes today would be PERFECT to link to right now, if only I could find it. (Their attribution was wrong, so I can't search by the cartoonist's name. Very annoying.)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

So it looks like G will not be joing us Friday, but is interested in joining the zoo expedition Saturday(with a possible detour to The Building Museum; hey, I knew I was marrying a structural engineer/architechture geek when I said yes). Of course he will be at the Prom.

Stupid question: For the various sub-group expeditions, are there plans? How/when are we meeting?

(This brought to you by "Does anal-retentive have a hyphen or not? It has =three=")

Our wings are not tired

Last year most of the outings left from the Hospitality Suite and there was a lot of cell phone wrangling to get last minute changes out. We also put up a cork board at the Hosp. Suite for messages. It all worked quite well.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Heh. *My* reaction to Sheryl's post was: "There's a ZOO outing planned? When did THAT happen?!?"

Because, y'see, I have no memory whatsoever. None.

In fact, who ARE you people? What is this "F2F"? Some sort of extracurricular activity?

t /bear of very little brain

I'd better check the message board often, since I have no cell phone. (yeah, I'm a dinosaur, whatever)

Name Tag Question:

Am I using last names for the "Real Name" part?

For instance --

Board Name: Pudding Pop O' Love
Real Name: Tim Minear

Or should it just say "Tim"? I honestly can't remember how we've done it in the past.

move out and draw fire

(refreshes reminder notice to bring chalkboard/whiteboard)

Just got back from the Market Fair at the Claude Moore farm (sort of a small colonial RenFaire). It was Cicada Hell. Every leaf of every apple tree had a shiny brown thing on it...they looked like dates.

Mostly lurking...

Steph, mine from last year just had my first name.
