Between Paypal and checks we now have $1060 collected for the F2F. This includes some money that folks have generously donated for things like the AV, and also to sponsor tickets for folks that are feeling the pinch money wise. This money is for 44 folks so far, so there are still a few out there that haven't sent anything in yet.

So it looks like G will not be joing us Friday, but is interested in joining the zoo expedition Saturday(with a possible detour to The Building Museum; hey, I knew I was marrying a structural engineer/architechture geek when I said yes). Of course he will be at the Prom.

Last year most of the outings left from the Hospitality Suite and there was a lot of cell phone wrangling to get last minute changes out. We also put up a cork board at the Hosp. Suite for messages. It all worked quite well.

Just got back from the Market Fair at the Claude Moore farm (sort of a small colonial RenFaire). It was Cicada Hell. Every leaf of every apple tree had a shiny brown thing on it...they looked like dates.
