Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Up with the sun

Rebecca, ND has, roughly, Every Song Ever Recorded already on his computer, so he's just putting together a mix based on requests and what worked last year. No need to bring CDs.

Our wings are not tired

Let me know what you'd like to hear. I may well have it. I'm bringing my 16,000 track music library and have a rough mix already put together. It's all playing back from my powerbook.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

I see. Um, hm, do you have The Dresden Dolls?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

went to my first rock concert-- did all these unintentionally hilarious things like assuming there would be, you know, seats, or a place to put down my bag, and that I could go in and out by flashing my ticket stub, and that I wouldn't need to have my fingers in my ears the entire time, and that they wouldn't want to exhaustively search the aforementioned bag which happened to contain a ton of shit including a t-shirt and a sweater and a novel and a newspaper and a copy of Playboy and an iPod and a bottle of hairspray and those fishnet tights in their package.... but it was great!)

Dude, I love the lovely Lizard. So much.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I wanna Sheryl in the Red Hot Riding Hood outfit!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I see. Um, hm, do you have The Dresden Dolls?

Dude! I haven't come across anyone else who knows them! A friend introduced me to them a month or so ago, and I loved "Girl Anachronism" to death. I bought the CD recently, and while I didn't love it all immediately, I'm warming up to it.

Eee! A friend in NY said she was considering coming to their Friday Philly show, and I was all, "I don't really go to concerts but if you make it down I'll take you out to dinner before or something", and she sent me to their website and I watched the GA video (!) a million times in fascination and somehow ended up going to the show in my friend's place.

And, well! My ears are still ringing! But they were very very lovely and charming, I was very charmed.

This is horrifically OT. Oh well. I had to go through dozens of teasing-ND posts while playing catchup the other evening.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I had to go through dozens of teasing-ND posts while playing catchup the other evening.

Oh, the humanity.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dude, teasing ND is sooo not off topic to Buffistas being F2F.

Hell, it's never off topic. I suggest we put it in the slug on the home page. The Press thread will now advise that natter will be deleted, unless it's teasing ND.
