Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I see. Um, hm, do you have The Dresden Dolls?

Dude! I haven't come across anyone else who knows them! A friend introduced me to them a month or so ago, and I loved "Girl Anachronism" to death. I bought the CD recently, and while I didn't love it all immediately, I'm warming up to it.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

Eee! A friend in NY said she was considering coming to their Friday Philly show, and I was all, "I don't really go to concerts but if you make it down I'll take you out to dinner before or something", and she sent me to their website and I watched the GA video (!) a million times in fascination and somehow ended up going to the show in my friend's place.

And, well! My ears are still ringing! But they were very very lovely and charming, I was very charmed.

This is horrifically OT. Oh well. I had to go through dozens of teasing-ND posts while playing catchup the other evening.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, the humanity.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dude, teasing ND is sooo not off topic to Buffistas being F2F.

Hell, it's never off topic. I suggest we put it in the slug on the home page. The Press thread will now advise that natter will be deleted, unless it's teasing ND.

Billytea, have I ever mentioned I like the way you think?

I think we can agree that the answer is, not nearly often enough.

There's a wonderfully cool breeze coming through the window, and the most thoroughly bizarre cover of The Logical Song playing through my headphones. If only it weren't 3 a.m.

I was wondering why you were up. Hey, I started a pile of stuff to take to the F2F, and I put the sound track to Absolute beginners in it for you.

eta: yes, we can agree on that.

Our wings are not tired

Yep, I've got The Dresden Dolls, which cut were you thinking?

Ooh, cool. I should start thinking about that too. Well, I've loaded up my Dell Jukebox (the replacement arrived on Friday, and I've finished going through my CD collection), but there's other stuff to plan. Like how many containers of licorice allsorts to bring, things like that. Plus, do I even pretend that I'll get any study done that weekend? Decisions, decisions.
