I answer to my real name, to meara, or to Indy (my drag name) at this point...I just figure it's easier to have y'all continue to call me meara. And I do like it rather better than my "real" name. Which is why I chose it.

1. plaintive I have no new name! Well, I mean, I guess I have one if you consider "Rebecca" to be my costume-ball-mask name, and I kind of do. But right now I'm newly and slowly getting used to intimates calling me "Lauren", too, which most of the time doesn't feel like much of a real name either. Teppy, I'm desperate. Nameless, I'm without a proper ego; and as everybody knows egoless people are no fun at a party. Without bounds to their personalities they just sort of sink out and spread like mist. Now is my chance to resolve this problem! Please, give me a name.

I'm bringing (at least) two dresses. The aforementioned vintage thingy and one of my 3 black sleeveless dresses with flowers. They're all different, really...

I planned on buying some new things for the F2F but so far that hasn't panned out.

I do have 2 dresses that are really nice and I only wore a few times. They are black. One has a sweep of flowers across the front and the other has ruffles and very subtle bead trim on the ruffles. They both came with scarf/wrap things. When I get my paycheck I'm going to hit various stores like Ross and see if I can find a prom worthy dress.

The nice thing about the F2F is hardly anyone there will have seen our favorite foamywear. I'm planning on taking the attitude of wearing shiny new clothes. OTOH, I have a new (sale!) skirt on order - hope it gets here before I leave!
