'Out Of Gas'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, damn. Well, you've got a few days yet to hit the stores.

I have some casual beige suede sandals from a couple of years ago somewhere. I never notice people's shoes, surely no one else does, right?

I feel like nattering, but I'm 1,000s of posts behind in every thread except this. Also, I have a ton of work to do still. I think I'll figure out what books to take to DC instead.

The Big Year for sure. Has anyone read Hollow Chocolate Buffies of the Apocalypse? Supposedly like Douglas Adams crossed with Aaron Sorkin by way of Mother Goose.

I have to start making my packing list!

Yes, I'm a geek.

I have a HOTT dress for the Prom, though. I feel like less of an ugly stepsister now.

Java, are you going to compile the board name/real name info, and then E it to me? Just curious.

Steph, I LOVE the CD! Thanks so much!

I'm jazzed about my dress too. It was a fluke, which kind of makes it more fun, and hecka cheap, which is always good. I stopped at Ross to see if they had any flower pots or planter boxes, and though, well, I'll just take a quick look at dresses while I'm here. YOWZA! Fun! What are you wearing, Steph?

Yeah, I should be working on the list or working on work instead of nattering. I put Hollow Chocolate Bunnies on reserve, and hope it comes to my branch by Saturday.

There are 2 ways I can go with the list. After I get the new data enterered, I can either edit it down to only people going to the F2F this year, and then email to each of them. Or, I can leave it as a larger list that includes most of the regular post-ers, and email it to everyone. My only hesitation is, would someone or a group of someones, have strong objections to other regular posters having their real name, email addy, and phone? should I address that in some way? how, if so? I kind of think at this point, all the regular posters pretty much know everyone, if you know what I mean, and I am rambling, aren't I, and there isn't anyone on the list who isn't a known person, so it ought to be okay to mail it to others; I think.

Has anyone read Lisa 33?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think one should err on the side of assuming privacy, JC.

On a practical level, one that doesn't involve a zillion emails about that issue, how can I achieve giving F2F attendees a list of the other attendees besides just mailing it out to all attendees listed?

Black dress. It's a cliche, but I like it.

When I asked about the list, I meant just a list of attendees so I can make name tags.

Also, I know that one year (maybe both) everyone attending got a list of other attendees cell phone numbers, which was INCREDIBLY helpful.

Glad you like the CD!

I guess you could ask here -- this thread -- if any of the attendees do NOT want the other attendees to know their real name/cell number.

But, really, having that list was very helpful in Chicago.
