Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Holli *is* my real first name. And my real last name is in my profile email address.

I do have a cell phone, but I use it so rarely that I can't recall the number off the top of my head.

I can do this all day

My Rumsfeld (no, not Renfield) Unit seems to be behaving erratically. Any advice? Pull the batteries?

You didn't get the recall notice?

Okay, insent to Steph (profile address) and Java cat. Also, Vortex, can you let me know if you got my email with all my info? I sent it off a while ago, but just thought I'd check. I think when I sent it, I didn't know how I was getting to the hotel, but now I'm getting a ride from BWI with Jon and... vw and Emily, I think? I can email you with that if you'd prefer.

Katie brings up a good point. I know how I am getting to the hotel, I think, but I still need to work out my ride to the airport on Sunday. Is someone organizing such things?

(psst, it's actually Kate, not Katie. Only my mom calls me Katie. I usually let it slide, 'cause it doesn't bother me all that much, but with all the talk about our real names here I thought I'd mention it.)

Gah-- sorry Kate. I know that too, just bad typing.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Ha! I am in possession of the One True Katherin/e/yn/arine/etc. nickname! Go me.

ETA: Ironically, the only people who ever call me Kate are my parents and my oldest friend. Possibly were I ever to meet Kate P. we would destroy each other in some anti-Kate explosion.

Oh, no problem. I usually figure people have confused me with Katie M, but I thought I'd point it out.

edit: Dude, I am the Anti-Kate! Or possibly the Anti-Katie!
