'Sleeper'

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Mostly lurking...

Yeah...do $22...just to be safe.

Who went and saw the place?? Don't they know if there's a TV?

(And if we're renting a TV, won't we have to rent a DVD and VCR, too? Rather than me bringing mine from home? Or can we just do that surreptitiously)

Our wings are not tired

A DVD player is much easier to covertly get to the room. A TV, NSM.

Here's what I'm going to do. I'm putting a posting up in press asking for $22. If it turns out we need more, then we'll find a way to cope with that after the fact. At least this way we've got something rolling to cover all of this fun stuff.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sounds like a plan. We can surely come up with something to spend the extra dosh on if we work at it.

A cake with assorted strippers jumping out of it?

More likely, pay for snackies and sodas and such for the hospitality suite. I think some of us DCistas are going to go CostCo shopping, but if there's extra for that, that'd be nice.

Oh, and were people still into the idea of Friday night karaoke? Cause I can make that happen...at the suburban gay tiki karaoke bar!! (No, really! It's fun!). Heh. TWOP has previously taken over the place, so they're used to crazy folk...

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I'm still less about the karaoke and more about the shooting nine-ball and watching darts players, but that's just me.

Both ideas have great appeal for me. I totally want to throw darts, but I also want to sing in a kilt.
