I'd kinda hope that folks would tip him as they are buying drinks.
Just housekeeping then I guess. What about the people who bring up the food? Do we tip them?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

There are service fees included.
Do I sound safe in saying that barring the TV, if we collect $20/person for the prom we'll be in good shape? I've got my paypal all primed and ready to go and would like to get this rolling. Especially if some folks don't want to do paypal and want to mail me checks or anything like that, since if it doesn't get mailed by, well like Monday it may not get to me before I leave for DC on the 19th.
If the feeling is that we need a bit more cash to feel safe we can bump Prom up to $22 and that gives us a budget of $1430 instead of $1300. Input? Questions? Comments? I'd really like to put a post in press in the next 30 minutes or so telling people where they can send money for Prom so that this is underway.
I'd do $22.
Yeah...do $22...just to be safe.
Who went and saw the place?? Don't they know if there's a TV?
(And if we're renting a TV, won't we have to rent a DVD and VCR, too? Rather than me bringing mine from home? Or can we just do that surreptitiously)
A DVD player is much easier to covertly get to the room. A TV, NSM.
Here's what I'm going to do. I'm putting a posting up in press asking for $22. If it turns out we need more, then we'll find a way to cope with that after the fact. At least this way we've got something rolling to cover all of this fun stuff.
Sounds like a plan. We can surely come up with something to spend the extra dosh on if we work at it.
A cake with assorted strippers jumping out of it?
