Oh, man, you people are killing me. The problem is, it's not so much a "need that chunk of money for a car" problem as a "still have no savings and shit credit after the jobhunt so I need to cut back radically on any kind of indulgence at all" problem. And hence a little more tricky to work around.
But the Buffista-love? Really fucking amazing. I'm all weepy again.
I see your issue. I had this issue. We have no business spending baby money on a "silly" trip. But, in 7 months we're gonna have to be all responsible and stuff.
If you come, it will do you good. Maybe not your pocketbook, but you. And you are who you have to take care of. The pocketbook will survive it.
(Also, your credit might not be as bad as you think. If you ever want help cleanig it up, let me know. I love doing it.)

I know you do, and I know you did. Thanks.

You might be hearing from me sometime soon. I've been really working at it for a while now, but I seem to remember that you have the magic touch.
I know you do, and I know you did. Thanks.
And if it stresses you out too much to come, then totally don't cause then, defeating the purpose. I'd just like there to be as many Amy/Aimee's there as possible and since Parker is being a traitor and going to Seattle, we have to stay strong. :)
brenda, anytime. Just let me know. It's so much easier than anyone thinks it is.
I'll be there for a week, May 17-24. I'd love to see a play midweek. Anyone want to recommend something?

Oooh, go see
The Comedy of Errors
at the Folger Theatre. I've heard terrific things about it, and that's the last week it's playing. I'm going to try and go myself.

I saw that one at the Carter Barron a few years back. Very enjoyable, as long as you think "comedy" more than "Shakespeare."
So I'm trying to get things rolling on collecting money for Prom and there's been some discussion of whether $20/person will cover things. We've got two weeks until the F2F, so we need to get this ironed out, pretty much NOW, not in a few days, or a week, we need to get this taken care of.
From what I can see we've got 65 people signed up, at $20/person that's $1300. We need to buy $800 in food from the hotel, and we need to rent the AV at $150. We also need to pay for the bartender to serve us drinks, be we're paying for the drinks themselves. Do we have a number on how much the bartender is? Hopefully much much less than $350.
Where are we on this folks? What am I missing in the "We have to pay for it" department?
