They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Herding cats for fun

Yup, my fashion style says that basic black + garnets = well dressed. Hearing about your garnets made me all wistful about not attending the F2F. You'll have to make sure that a picture of The Garnets gets posted for me.

Our wings are not tired

A swanky dinner sounds quite good.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

You did not dance because you did not have ME!

Also, I would wear my wedding gown. Except that it's a kimono. And while it is beautiful, it would be very very difficult to dance in. Or to walk. Or to move. Or to breathe.

And oh, yeah, that whole thing where I'm not going.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I think Aimee was responding to the trend of dressing-down that female-types have displayed in their descriptions of what they plan to wear.

Hey! My leather is not "dressing-down", damnit; it's soft supple pricey leather.

And I wore black ankle length Ralph Lauren last year. This year, I think it's trousers.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Someday, I want to buy better leather pants, with a button and everything.

(Edited because my leather pants are real, not imaginary, just cheap, and with no button)

I have seen them, and they are real, and they look good, oh yes they do.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I hereby request "Rock Your Body" and "All The Things She Said" for dance music.

There are multiple versions of each of these songs, which artists are you looking for?

The JT "Rock Your Body" (there are probably a bunch of remixes, matters not to me) and the t.A.T.u. "All The Things She Said" (and smonster is right, it's even better in Russian). I also love their cover of "How Soon Is Now" and their song "Show Me Love". I may be a wee bit obsessed at the moment. And I will totally dance. And dress up in extravagant costumes. Maybe I'll bring my salwar kameez. I think my guiding principle while packing will be "Everything you own that you can't wear anywhere else."

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

I will be

1) wearing very fancy clothing, becuase I am always overdressed for everything (when I show up to almost-formal events I always feel a little embarrassed to think that someone who didn't know me might think I just misgauged the importance of the event)

2) dancing to whatever is playing

3) hitting on Steph
