Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

'Not Fade Away'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'll bring a laptop and all needed cables to patch into pretty much any PA. I can also bring a couple of good Sennheiser handheld microphones and a couple of mic cables.

Great! We should only need one mic, for announcements. lisah's loaning a mic stand for my theremin, which is the only thing we need that for, so I think we're set. Is the plan for all music to come from the laptop?

Thrive to spite them

I was going to wear the silver lame skirt I got on super cheap sale, but the skirt proved to be...well cheap...and ripped (not on the seam either).

So it's back to square one. I do have the dress I wore in my dance/tango (but I have to see if it fits). I'm hoping to put together an outfit that's more...interesting. The dress is pretty and I love it and I'll probably bring it anyway---from what I've gathered you can never have too many clothes at the F2F.

move out and draw fire

Falls Church is about 7 miles west of DC, and mebbe an hour to BWI, depending on what time of day. I've made it faster, and slower.

I can loan an extra DVD player, and we've got a guitar amp if needed.

I don't have any idea what to wear either, but I'll wing it. And I'm still nervous about meeting everyone, but also really really wanting to.

Our wings are not tired

Yep. I'm bringing my laptop and my music library, so we'll have a bit over 15,000 tracks at our disposal.

Oh my. How will we ever decide what to play? Will somebody make a party mix?

I can't even.

Snerk. And also, bwah!

Maybe we can find a good radio station.

I'll have a mix already set up, the extra stuff is pretty much there in case I miss stuff in putting the mix together. If folks want to have a hand in what gets into the mix just find some time with me before the Prom.

I kind of figured. I just had this funny image in my head of a bunch of people in swank party gear huddled around a laptop looking at a long, list of songs saying "That one. No, ooh! That one. No wait! That one!"

"Spark up the extra laptops! Can someone set up a quick Mister Poll?"

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

And just you leave out those eighties songs, mister! You know how much people hate those!
