You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'll be up there giving the very rusty pipes a workout.

And thanks to the kilt, this will no doubt be readily apparent to all.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Absolutely, yes this. Singing skills are not required.

"Oh, the shark bites...with his teeth, yeah...and he keeps them...pearly white...

...oh, the...shark bites...there's more words to this? da da da dum...Mack the Knife..."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

..oh, the...shark bites...there's more words to this? da da da dum...Mack the Knife..."

So you're singing Ella's version?

I may have to seize the cat.

So you're singing Ella's version?

Doesn't she have a line that actually goes like "I forgot the - words to this song - blahbeeblahblah - pearly white..."

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Kiba- are you really not coming to F2F now?

(that's why I suggested it was hers)

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Yes I just was trying to recall if she had a line where she openly admitted forgetting the lyrics, or if she just made shit up.

Kiba- are you really not coming to F2F now?

I don't know. It's all very up in the air and probably will be until very close to F2F time. Sucks muchly, because I *really* want to go, but I want a job more.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yes I just was trying to recall if she had a line where she openly admitted forgetting the lyrics, or if she just made shit up.

Kind of both, actually. I love that recording.

Oh, sorry.

Yes, she does cop to it.

::fires up MMJB::

Oh, what's the next chorus
To this song now?
This is the one now
I don't know.
But it was the swinging tune,
And it's a hit tune.
So we try to do
Mack the Knife ...
Oh, Louie Miller
Oh something 'bout cash
Yeah, Miller, yeah he was feeling that trash
And Mackie dear he spends like a sailor
And tell me tell me could that boy do something rash.
Ah, Bobby Darin & Louis Armstrong
They made a record, oh but they did.
But Ella, Ella and her fella ...
We're making a wreck,
What a wreck
Of Mack The Knife
 ...excellent Satchmo impersonation...
So you've heard it,
Yes we've swung it
And we tried to
Yes we've sung it
You won't recognise it
It's a surprise hit.
This tune called Mack The Knife.
And so we leave you
In Berlin town
Yes we've swung Old Mack,
yeah we swung old Mackie down.
For the Darren fans
And for the Louis Armstrong fans too
We told you look out, look out
Old Mack is back in town.

She pretty much fakes 2/3 of it.
