This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I may have to seize the cat.

Kiba F2F Update:

According to folks at job fair yesterday, the principal whom central-office-lady said "Would probably hire you today if he could" is now considering not-offering-Latin next yr.

What this means is I will likely need to attend Job Fairs F2F weekend, and save moneys I'd be spending on food etc for that part of July where I have to live with either friends or parents because no one will tell me whether or not they want to hire me.

I hate education. But I love it.

Amych, that doesn't mean you can't get a good rate. Smonster got a fine rate, even without the "buffista" bit. I'm just concerned that she's not counting towards our total number of rooms, and we'll get screwed. That would be bad.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Hi Aimee. The short answer is sometime Friday. I think I have that day off work, if not then I have the afternoon off. Either way, my best guess is hitting the road between 2 and 3.

Hmmm.....

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I would think it would be worth asking the hotel, particularly if you could mention an equal rate you saw elsewhere (as far as being geographically with the group at least).

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hmmm.....

Why do you ask?

I'm all for the tiki bar as long as I'm not expected to sing.

I have no such expectations, Matt. That way, when it happens it'll be a pleasant surprise.

Our wings are not tired

I'll sing Copacabana.

Um, no. I have a nice speaking voice, which cracks and jumps octaves like a pubescent teenager's when I try to sing anything. I can theoretically sing "I Second that Emotion" in falsetto and maintain a consistent pitch, but it wears my throat out badly— which really wouldn't be fair to my date.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I can sing - I fronted my own band have the recordings to prove it. I just won't sing.
