Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
72 hours before I check in... I assume? (don't laugh, I need to make triple sure of everything these days.)
yes, 72 hours before your check in.
thank you! sorry for dumb follow up questions. I appreciate your patience... (and willingness to use small words and simple concepts)
OK, reservation made - we'll be driving down Saturday, and driving back Sunday... did anyone else get quoted the parking rate at the full rate, $22? I tried to explain to the woman that we should have a 50% off, and she said that if I brought proof that we made arrangements for the 50% off at check in that there shouldn't be a problem. Just wondering if anyone else ran into this.
I'm thinking about just staying drunk through the whole thing.
Wait. There are people who DON'T?!?
I don't, because just one drink makes me sleepy, sad, and sick to my stomach. The price of being not depressed. I figure it's worth it. (Yay SSRI!)
Nora, plus, there should be some street parking over the weekend, really...

Hey, some of us regard eating out as one of the fun things to do on vacation. Hence the being able to hold food down is of the good.

I don't because I tend to think all booze that isn't champagne or really good prosecco smells like weasel pee. Also? Don't like being drunk or bad temper afterward.
That's why I'm usually either the hostess or the designated driver.

Good point. Keeping me drunk all weekend will consist of a beer every two hours or so. It'd take more effort for me to be undrunk. Plus, honestly, I don't get drunk. Just tipsy.
