OK, reservation made - we'll be driving down Saturday, and driving back Sunday... did anyone else get quoted the parking rate at the full rate, $22? I tried to explain to the woman that we should have a 50% off, and she said that if I brought proof that we made arrangements for the 50% off at check in that there shouldn't be a problem. Just wondering if anyone else ran into this.

I don't because I tend to think all booze that isn't champagne or really good prosecco smells like weasel pee. Also? Don't like being drunk or bad temper afterward.
That's why I'm usually either the hostess or the designated driver.

Good point. Keeping me drunk all weekend will consist of a beer every two hours or so. It'd take more effort for me to be undrunk. Plus, honestly, I don't get drunk. Just tipsy.

I like the idea, Aimee. It's a tiny bit expensive, but it would be a great way to get oriented to the town and start putting together the maps-on-paper with the experiental-map-by-doing/being. Plus, pretty.
