Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

I'm struggling with whether or not I want to order Minas Morgul
Right there with you. On the one hand, want; on the other, $75 is a big chunk of change. But still, want.
One of my co-workers (a fellow LotR buff) just gave me a pretty neat something that a friend of his wife's had made for them but really didn't fit in their house, so he passed it onto me. They're four glass display bottles filled with bead and stones, but hotglued to the top are the Witchking (with sword drawn)--his bottle has an eyeball charm tied around the neck; Gandalf on Shadowfax--his bottle's charm says "Protect"; Frodo with Sting--his charm says "Courage"; and Sam with Sting and a little blob in his left fist which I think is the starglass--his charm says "Friendship." I've got them sitting on top of my CPU now.
Oh, neat, Kathy! I'd love to see pictures.
-t, while we're dithering whether or not to spend $75? Minas Morgul is bringing up to $199, with a $239 Buy it Now price. Just FYI.
Hmm. Good point Beverly. Suddenly, it's an investment! With an excellent ROI. Except I know I wouldn't sell it, but I can pretend that I might some time in the future if I really need the money.
Those sound extremely cool, Kathy.
I just noticed that the bottles have in them appropriate items--the Witchking has bloodred glass beads, Gandalf has white ones, and Frodo and Sam both have polished stones, appropriate for the salt-of-the-earth hobbits.
Ooo! She could have used coarse salt and herbs for Sam. "That there's the best salt in all the Shire."
That domain is blocked by my work filter -- what is it?
It's the "Mortor" thing.
