LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

Good point. Okay, that's suicide off my to-do list for a while at least.

I saw it in the shops today. I picked it up. I looked at the price tag. I put it back.

Actually, the EE trilogy box set is a bargain at EUR 80, considering the RotK EE alone costs EUR 40. So, definite Christmas-type hinting going on in this house.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I hear some rumors that DeepDiscoutDVD folks are already shipping out the DVDs for the pre-order gang.

Stupid Amazon with their stupid adhering to the release date!

Okay, really though. Can I kill myself now ? After I've watched it again with all four commentaries, obviously.

I have no words for this.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It sucked, huh?

Say it isn't so!

No, say it is so. It'll make the wait easier.

Easier, but not as delicious. Tim and Joss have ruined me for the easy wait. I want pain and quality.

What? No. It was worth the wait, and worth the pain. But it's all downhill from here. Christmas is never going to be the same again.

I miss the anticipation.

Though the watching was good. And by 'good', I do of course mean 'scrumptilescent'.
