Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"?
Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn.
Aragorn: I like "Strider."
Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".
A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.
Man, give a person a degree and they become all EE having and taunty.
Sounds like permission to me.
Did I mention I'll be watching the EE in a few hours? Because I will. Be watching the EE, that is. By which I mean the Extended Edition. Of The Return of the King. Me. Watching it.
I've had my fun.
Jars is a big taunting taunter, pass it on.
Jars -- even though you are an evil taunty taunter -- I'm saying:
Congratulations on finishing your BA!!!
Sob
I have to wait until the 25th. I promised myself I wouldn't even rent it. Sigh - off to unsub from this thread for a while.
One of my aussie pals picked up his copy of the EE yesterday afternoon. Of course, he hasn't watched it yet. Taunter, I say!
Thanks sumi!
And now, as soon as I finish watching the EE, I think a nice ritual suicide might be in order.
What precisely do I have to live for any more?
Umm, the special extended trilogy soundtrack that's coming out in 2005?
The hope that PJ will make "The Hobbit"?
Good point. Okay, that's suicide off my to-do list for a while at least.
I saw it in the shops today. I picked it up. I looked at the price tag. I put it back.
Actually, the EE trilogy box set is a
bargain
at EUR 80, considering the RotK EE alone costs EUR 40. So, definite Christmas-type hinting going on in this house.
