Screencaps of the spoilery sort here. It's Faramir & Eowyn !!
LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".
Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".
A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.
I think the early scene that sumi referenced is after the opening scene with Frodo and Sam, when they
Oh, man. I love that scene in the book.
Yeah, I saw that bit (from the screencap) in the promo someone had up. I continue to feel that they didn't get my Eowyn onto the screen, and it makes me sad. Miranda Otto's version is... I dunno. Fragile, rather than brittle. Too warm.

(At least that is what I got from my most recent re-watch.. . my most recent rewatch also showed me Legolas leaping over the wall to get ahead in the run for the Bridge of Khazad-Dum. . . how had I missed that the quatrillian times I've watched it before?)
"Begone if you be not deathless!"
I mean, come on, they could ahve put it in.
I would have enjoyed the original dialogue.
There was some discussion here earlier as to whether the general public would have as much.
