I prefer to think of Vin as Sam.

LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".
Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".
A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.
I prefer to think of Vin as Sam.
Okay, didn't see that one coming. Share?
Vin excells in the kicking of ass roles, so I figured to play to his strengths.
Mostly I just want to see him with hobbit feet.
Mostly I just want to see him with hobbit feet.
Ahh. Perhaps he has run down to the entrance to Rivendell, hastily half-dressed? A light rain is falling, and he needs to read a message, so dons Bilbo's glasses?

Oh, damn. He'd have been a brilliant Uruk Hai. I think the absence of Lurtz (or a Lurtzalike) was a negative in TTT.
Hell, the absence of Lurtz is a negative in any number of movies. Starting with every Star Wars after Empire, and continuing through to The Shawshank Redemption.
Some doof challenged me on my love of Lurtz. I told him to look around my desk, where he's only outnumbered by Legolas, and that's more a function of calendar makers than anything else.
Whee!
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King has become the second film in history to earn more than $1 billion worldwide, reaching that level during its tenth week of release, one week faster than Titanic (which went on to earn $1.8 billion).
More Bacchus pics of Elijah and Dom.
I've read some entertaining fan encounters on livejournal of people who went to Mardi Gras just to see/meet them as well.
Hee! There are few places but this thread where Lurtz gets his due.
I have to say, having heard and read interviews with both Lawrence Makoare and Sala Baker, that I feel more sympatico with Sala ("white light! white light!") than Lawrence. But Lurtz in and of himself is a splendid character.
Guhhhh. Elijah, DAVID FREAKING BOWIE, and Dom. Ahem.
Kay. Sorry, I'm done. (If you are a big Scarlett Johansen fan, there are some of her Elijah and Bowie on the same site.)
eta: the look on Dom's face isn't very guh-worthy, but it is EXACTLY how I would look if I was in a room with Bowie.
I'm having sandwich of evil thoughts.
