Tiberius was actually quite a competent emperor, but his private life didn't bear close examination.
Yeah, Suetonius is a barrel of laughs, but not so much with the information on everyday Roman life.

Well most of the ones in HBO's ROME are pretty freaking hot. And tormented. So that helps with the fascination.

Yeah, I was mostly flailing for Roman Emperors beginning with "t". Say, do Eastern Empire honchos count? There's probably a Theodore-ish one or two from Byzantium.
