Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

We're Literary 2: To Read Makes Our Speaking English Good

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

What is even happening?

Put an "s" at the beginning of a new line, skip a space, and write your text. At ever paragraph break, you'll need a new "s".

So:

s Harry is so cute

turns into

Harry is so cute

Wow, TC, that's way easier. I'm still using the old fashioned html tag.

Let me test...

Yup, it works

My head hurts from all the crying, I guess.

I need to lay down. I think I'm in mourning. Or maybe shock. Or both.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

CV, that was my reaction too. I was pleasantly unspoiled for this book and in fact, though I had a thought that someone would die, I had no real info on that point.

it being Dumbledore was sort of heartbreaking. Inevitable and heartbreaking all in one.

also, not fully convinced (and I don't want to be convinced, quite frankly) that Snape did it on Dumbledore's request. I'm kinda hoping that he is just evil, which I could be good with. Because the vision of Dumbledore's own trust/willingness to believe in goodness as is downfall is somewhat more appealling to me.

Also I had hopes that Neville (who was also tagged in the prophecy from the last one, correct), would be more important. But alas, not yet.

'And on that tragic day, an era came to its inevitable end.' That's all there is.

I never thought that Rowling was going to reveal that Hermoine was Harry's Sister

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Well, I got the book though not the way I had originally planned. Turned out that even though the schedule at the con said they would be selling the book at midnight, what they meant was they would pre-sell the book from 5-8, then hand the books out at midnight. I got to the con at 10:30 Fri. night, and did not know that this was the plan until i went up at midnight to buy the book and found the rest of the folks there all had receipts...

I ended up buying the book this afternoon and read it while G drove us home. I was completely unspoiled for the book and yet not surprised by Dumbledore's death And yet...I was kinda underwhelmed by the whole thing.
