I think I agree with Emmett.
Has anyone read Shakespeare After All? I think KristinT said she got it for Christmas. I just got it from my stepmom, a Shakespeare prof, on the same day the IHT reviewed it. (They included a section from The National Review's review of the author's previous work, and that review was so full of vitriol I like the author already.)
Anyway, not making much typing sense, but am really enjoying the book. I am a Shakespeare geek though.

OK, I'm only 100 pages in, but I'm recommending Sena Jeter Naslund's Four Spirits. It's fiction set in Birmingham, 1963. The title refers to the 4 girls killed in the bombing of the 16th St. Baptist Church, but they are not characters within it.
I know some here didn't like Ahab's Wife (which I adored,) but this is a fascinating weave of voices.

Who are the Marian Keyes readers here? I've read "Sushi for Beginners" and "Rachel's Holiday" in the last two weeks, and really enjoyed both of them -- she has a real gift for creating nuanced characters.
Where should i go next? Also, I assume the Maggie of Angels and the Claire of Watermelon are Rachel's older sisters -- am I right? If so, are there books about Anna and Helen yet?
