Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins. Twenty years old. Born on the fourth of July — and don't think there weren't jokes about that my whole life, mister, 'cause there were. 'Who's our little patriot?' they'd say, when I was younger and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now.

We're Literary 2: To Read Makes Our Speaking English Good

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Okay, she can kill both of the twins, thus satisfying both Kate and me.

No! I said I would be affected by their deaths, not satisfied. I very much want them to live.

If I only had a brain...

Well, you said you'd be upset if she killed one. I figure killing two isn't covered by that statement.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

If the company the twins started is succesful, my kittens are on the twins buying it. If they squandered the money Harry gave them, I expect they'll survive.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What about Mom or Dad Weasley? That would suck in a heartbreaking kinda way.

Another social casualty...

I wanted to thank everybody for the rec for The Time-Traveler's Wife. I borrowed it from the libray a week ago, and I plowed through it over the weekend. I could not put it down. I was a wreck when I finished it. It was an unusal way of looking at an old idea, and she seemed to have really thought about her premise in great deal.

I must now buy it.

(edited because I can't talk and type at the same time.)

justkim, wasn't it fabulous? I found it totally absorbing and moving. I really loved both Henry and Clare, and their daughter too, and how self-possessed she was, and how easily she took to time-traveling herself.

I want to know what happened to Alba. I really want to know more about her story. How did she adjust when she got older? How did Clare adjust? Did Alba use any of the treatments they tried on Henry when she turned 18?

Such a beautiful book.

Always Anti-fascist!

That title blows. But so do mine. Just in a different way.
