That's one of the things I did, Micole, to find the above.
There's also a book of short stories by Barry Gifford called American Falls: The Collected Short Stories. In it, one of the characters, though not the protagonist of the story, is named Antonella. There's another book of short stories by Dacia Maraini, Darkness: Fiction. In it, a murder victim in one of the stories is named Antonella.
That's all I could uncover.

I'm catching up from a busy week and hey, new thread!, but mostly I'm just rolling the spicy goodness of Teppy's above quote around in my mind, while avoiding work. I got nothing on the book front. Oh, I recently infected a professor friend with Iain Banks' The Wasp Factory, and he went rushing around grabbing as much of the rest of it as he could. I love doing that.

I got it from the library and really enjoyed it, but don't feel a pressing need to own it.
