Well, Hec sure puts on a good show.
Robin! Happy early birthday! Want Clive Owen?
Fred ,'A Hole in the World'
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Well, Hec sure puts on a good show.
Robin! Happy early birthday! Want Clive Owen?
That was the bestest post EVER.

Yeah, ita, only he won't be dancing--I have other, um, tasks for him to perform.
Wow, Hec. Nice.
Would a spy novel written by a woman sell? If it was as good as the top-rated male-authored spy stories, would there be a noticeable difference in sales?
You mean like, say, the late Helen Macinnes?
For example.
Was/Is she as popular as Ludlum or Le Carre?
She was regularly on the bestseller lists; I don't know relative rankings.
In her heyday, MacInnes was quite well respected.
Also, women regularly write best-seller serial killer novels, like Patricia Cornwell. I don't see the spy genre being much different.
I want to at least have cake at the Scrappy party...impressive guest list.
