J, are you coming to the F2F?
Mal ,'Out Of Gas'
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Ma-tyur, same as ita.
J, are you coming to the F2F?
Unfortunately, no. Picasso At The Lapin Agile opens the same weekend, and the director has some strange idea about all of the actors being there for performances. Silliness.
(I'm trying to shift my pronunciation over to ma-tyur since I've started putting the dipthong in words like "duke". Consistency and lack of midwestern accent are good things.)
Picasso At The Lapin Agilereally enjoyed this play. What's your role?
Last night I finished Dan Brown's first Robert Langdon mystery Angels and Demons. It had a plot that moved along at a great clip with lots of red herrings and twists. It's not a masterpiece of literary genius but the tension made me keep reading.
Now I'm reading Bitten by Kelley Armstrong, which is about a female werewolf living in Toronto. It's the first book in her Women of the Underworld series, which I think is 3 books strong now.
What's your role?
Suzanne/The Countess/Female Admirer. I'm getting a corset built for me! It will be black and red!! (I'm way too excited about that fact.)
I adore the show. I was disappointed when I didn't get to direct it, but this is pretty darn good, too. Also, getting to kiss the man playing Picasso? Yummy.
In a bizarre megan connection, I too just finished Angels and Demons . I thought I wouldn't like it as much as The Da Vinci Code , but I agree that it was an interesting page-turner. It cracks me up to think that people use it as a guide to Rome though.
ETA: How do I get rid of that space after the italics?
That's really weird megan. Glad you liked it too! Elena's DH read it last week and liked it a lot better than The Da Vinci code.
It cracks me up to think that people use it as a guide to Rome though.
Hopefully they aren't using it to find the lost Illuminati hideout.

Sadly, that wouldn't surprise me at all.
mmmmm.....you said "Illuminati".....
(signed, complete and total "Illuminatus Trilogy" freak over her)
