We're Literary 2: To Read Makes Our Speaking English Good

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Return to Oz freaked my shit out when I was 12. I haven't seen it since.

But I did meet the guy who wrote the screenplay a month ago.

I am trying to think of bad endings to books, and mostly coming up with bad books. Perhaps a sign, no?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I have to say my scenario is more likely since you're actively trying to quit smoking and JZ is liking her short hair (its good for retro girl styling).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Speaking of retro girl hair, how did the pin-curls turn out Nutty?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Hilarious. I had no idea what I was doing, and I looked like all the silly seterotypes of frizzy-curled 40s bimboes in the world. Then I wielded a hairbrush, and they sort of fell apart. Must use gel next time.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Nutty for next time .

I was picturing fingerwaves for pincurls, which gave me a very odd Nutty visual. I feel better now.

And also feel better to live in a time when I don't have to "do" my hair before I walk outside.
