Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Do people usually slight the fandom? I often wonder if the Firefly fandom feels like the bastard step-child of the Whedonverse fandoms.

I think of Firefly as Joss' favoritist child, the baby.

The fandom never got the attention that Buffy fans received in the beginning, when Joss was younger, had more hair on his head and less on his face, and was less busy.

I do have serious eye-roll moments with the Firefly fandom, though not the blind rage I feel toward the Buffy/Angel fandoms.

But I get my share of blind rage and eye-rolls directed at me, so we're all probably even.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Thanks for posting the link to interview with person-whose-presence-could-conceivably-be-considered-a-spoilier-for-rabid-spoiler-phobes. I've been vaguely following his career since he had a huge amount of acclaim for a play at the National a few years ago, and I really enjoyed the interview. Although it made me cry, actually. Stupidly. Inasmuch as one can like these people whom one doesn't know at all, I find myself liking him enormously.

I'm very happy he's going to be in Serenity.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Do people usually slight the fandom?

No. I just meant that you don't which would be easy to do since your heart lies with the Buffy folks.

I think of Firefly as Joss' favoritist child, the baby

We do too and are very grateful.

I was actually trying to convey that all you do for the Firefly fandom is appreciated whether you get attitude from some or not.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I saw him in Trust, and was nicely impressed.

I feel appreciated. One of my many flaws is that I react to any sort of slight not by taking the high road, but by responding in the nastiest, most cutthroat way possible, and then I'm all sour for days, and that's the stuff I tend to remember, which is really bad for my stomach and my mind.

I'm a bait-taker. I take the bait, pull the fisherman in with me, and we both come out smelling like chum.

Awful habit. Ruins my otherwise cheery disposition. And totally my fault.

I admit, I tuned in for the Robson Green, but he was plenty of reason to stay.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

Well, I enjoy your postage, Allyson. Is that a word if it doesn't have to do with franking?

Compassionately intolerant

Gotta love a numismatism joke!
