Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Or there's always the "Wanda's on crack" theory, which always explains so much.

there's always the "Wanda's on crack" theory

it's not an addiction. it's a part of her.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I was whitefonting since some people hadn't read/seen the pilot yet--I figured better safe than sorry.

CaBil, thanks to your post I'm now comparing Book to Nicholas D. Wolfwood.

Hi Tim! Hey, what did you say?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it's not an addiction. it's a part of her.

You're making it sound like it's all connected. Everything is connected. Connected, you know?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Ooh! Ooh! Does this mean I get to play with Reformation/Colonialist/Jesuit metaphors? What, you're telling me ME doesn't tailor their work directly to my lit crit obsessions on purpose?

Hmmm. Tim's presence in the spoiler thread means we'll either get some reasonably reliable gossip, or the entire universe will divide by zero and implode.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

CaBil, thanks to your post I'm now comparing Book to Nicholas D. Wolfwood.

In the pilot he did do an efficient smackdown.

BTW, the scene with Mal decking the doctor in the cargo thinking he is the one that lured the cruiser out to them to where Mal is telling Inara not to tell him what to do after the character was shot was the preview I saw at San Diego Comic Con...

yes, that is the connection I was trying to make. about the connectedness.

lori - Oct 01, 2002 10:46:08 am PDT #64 of 1424

Are you saying there's a connection? Between this and that and the other thing that are connected?
