To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Dude. You're in a spoiler thread. White font not neccesary.

And I had forgotten that point, so yeah, I think you're right. Looks like HoG is last.

So I guess the real order is War Stories, OiS, Trash, the Message, HoG?

Makes sense to me.

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

That's my assumption on the order as well. Someone needs to get Tim in here to set us right about it. But until that happens, I'm going to go with the above as the proper story order.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Or frelling Joss who was in the regular Firefly thread. Oh well.

So why was HoG scheduled and then shelved in place of OiS? Because OiS was a better episode? Or because it was a Joss episode? Everyone knows the order of the season was fudged for various reasons, and if HoG was obviously later, then maybe they had that in place in case Fox dropped the axe early (no puns intended), but, when they thought they might have another chance, they pulled out OiS as a big gun ep?

I think it'll take someone 'in the know' to set that record straight. Hopefully the DVDs will all be in proper story order, or at least give us some sort of explaination why the cliffhanger from HoG gets ignored in all three later episodes.

Or, welcome to Farscape/Twin Peaks, the next generation if it really was the last episode of those completed.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm thinking that Trash should be seen by everyone. Especially with the return of Saffron for the episode and the interplay between that character and Mal.

And the Mal nudity for those who like that sort of thing. :)

And if I have to take Nekkid Wash in order to get Nekkid Zoe in the feature film, so be it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hmm, just felt the return of my disgruntlement at being most attracted to the Firefly character that probably doesn't even shower naked.

Looks like Tim just set the recond straight on the episode ordering.

The DVD having a restored OiS to account for HoG just makes my little heart go pitter-pat. Want them. Want them now!

Don't forget to stomp your foot Griffyn. A "want now" statement always needs the accompanying foot stomp.

How about a full blown tantrum? I've been known to reach upwards of 85 decibels with some warmup.

Whatever it takes to get me to throw out this full collection on VCD and spend hard earned cash on the DVDs, I shall do it gladly.
