Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Wait a minnit. It's a frelling clip show!

Yeah, but if you had to do a clip show, this was the way to do it. I found the whole thing just... enormously touching. Carson and his mom, Sergeant Hardass and his message to his brother (which humanazied him for the first time in my eyes), Kavanagh being predictably jackassy, Weir and her messages to the family of the dead, and... I admit it, I cried a bit when McKay talked about Atlantis people being like a surrogate family in his message to his sister. Because I am a sap.

Zelenka is too adorable for words.

Now, on BSG: Okkkkay, that was fluffy and I like the show better when it's being dramatic. Poor Tigh. Although whoever came up with the ep title "Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down" should be spanked because... talk about unwanted images in my head. Oy.

Some of the reaction shots in and after the dinner scene were hilarious though.

I was unclear about how the alert fighters saved the ship. Uh, didn't the Cyclon Raider crash into the side of Galactica anyway? Did the fighters cornered it so it could crash into a less vital part of the ship?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ca'ching!!!!

My first thought was ... wait, I don't remember that episode of Stargate.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Uh, didn't the Cyclon Rader crash into the side of Galactica anyway?

Naw, they blew it up just at the last second.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, that last thing was chilling.

And the scene.

But "Mansqueeto" -- bwahahahaha! Who thought that was a good idea?

Art Crawl!!!

Do we have a thread name for the new thread? Or are we still arguing over the descriptor thingy?

Our wings are not tired

Mansquito.

You have GOT to be kidding.

That was a joke right?

SG-1 I really enjoyed. Fishbowl was a bit ho-hum, but giving all the speeches for the legions of redshirts already disposed of what kinda touching. I'd have loved to see an episode of the Original Star Trek with Kirk doing that.

I've not made up my mind about tonight's BSG.

Are other folks finding the Caprica City subplot a little tiresome?

DXMachina - Mar 05, 2005 3:19:15 am PST #9984 of 10000
You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'm not seeing the point of the whole Caprica City subplot, so yeah.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Also, holy crap, was that bit with Baltar a watch-from-the-hall moment. I don't have a hall far enough away.

What happened? I missed the ep last night... was that a good thing to do?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Love this unintentional exchange:

Do we have a thread name for the new thread? Or are we still arguing over the descriptor thingy?

Mansquito.

I liked last night's BSG. The funny was pretty funny, and the creepy was nice and creepy. I'm getting less and less patient with the Caprica storyline, though. I can sense that it's moving somewhere, but it needs to get there faster, or have more happen in the meantime.
