Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Rodney! Okay, yeah. Got it.

Actually I liked Sheppard in the piece of the episode I saw with them fighting the Wraith guy who was lurking in the wrecked ship hull. He only annoyed me later in another episode. So I should keep watching and they'll grow on me? Do you promise?

Also, Katie, I wished you happy in Natter, but in case you don't see it, Happy Birthday!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Isn't Sheppard the one who's all "I am alpha male, hear me pee" and certain that he's right in every instance despite having been tapped for the mission at the last possible second due to his genetics rather than any actual training or accomplishment?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Er, I can't promise. But lots of people really liked these last few episodes...

(And thank you!)

ETA: That's the one, Matt.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think that Shephard's any more convinced of his rightness than the other characters. And I'm sure if his training or accomplishment was insufficient to the task of being in command, someone else would be.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Sheppard was actually an accomplished pilot and Air Force officer before being offered the Atantis gig. He was also hand-picked by Gen. O'Neill.

Really? As I recall, he sat in that chair and lit it up, thus making Weir really really want him. (And I'd give you the file of last week's if I had it, I swear... I've got it on the TiVo if you want a tape.)

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I wouldn't cry if Enterprise did get re-upped, especially with the current creative team. However, the horse is looking awfully dead at this point, and reality is reality.
