Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm 100% with you on that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Dude, guest appearances is how we got Pod!Giles. Be careful what you wish for.

Better than the alternative, I'm thinking.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Actually as far as Aquarium, I think them being able to get back and forth to Earth, but not very often, due to limited resources, etc., would actually help the series after the first season.

If this is the direction they are going, I'm thinking it might be a good idea for the show. There's only so many times you can find/lose/just miss the flabotinum.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

ita: Nothing formal's been said, but the casting information makes it look like we're getting little to no Jack next year, yeah.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

The Atlantis news makes my head hurt.

On the other hand, Sheppard/New Guy? Hmmmmm.

The SG-1 episode Threads was on tonight. As I had uninvited guests and had to be polite, I missed all but the last ten minutes. However, what a last ten minutes - Nekkid unAscended Daniel! In a flag! And fishing! The whole team! Fishing at the cabin!

I realise that's a lot of exclamation marks for ten minutes of tv, but quite frankly, I think it's worth it. Now I just have to make sure I don't miss the repeat on Friday. Is it rude to not answer the door when people come to visit?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Bjo Whosis used to let people in, but they'd have to sit quietly until the episode was over. If they didn't, she never let them in at that time again, and told them why. Phone off the hook. Must say, for some episodes of some series, it doesn't seem over the top, y'know?
