I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Supposedly a Luthercorp experiment.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Still? Better than it's really really Kal-El's real dog from Krypton!

I'll assume homage is their intent until the show airs, and I'm dissapointed as usual.

I guess I should have gotten over the ability for Kryptonite to give people completely random abilities, shouldn't I?

How did Kid Flash get his powers? How many non-magic weirdnesses have come up that don't have to do with meteor rocks?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

They did the "hit by lightning" thing for the Flash and he even looked at Clark like he was insane for asking about meteor rocks. If only the writers had realized that while the fans will appreciate you making fun of an over-used convention, going right back to it will make them even more annoyed.

As for the upcoming episode, I've been dreading it since I happened to see the title on TVtome. The whitefont here is not making me any happier.

Right -- pretty much in Flash continuity. The degree of small-pond/big-villain makes my head ache. "Real" Superman didn't have to depend on kryptonite for plot so desperately.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I can sort of fanwank the krypto-mutant-centric storylines as long as they're in Smallville and as long as I don't think about it too much. There's supposedly a lot of kryptonite there, so if they're gonna say it makes mutants, I guess it can make as many as they like.

If the show follows Clark to Metropolis U. and the krypto-mutants are still the main plot devices, I'll have more trouble with it.

The thinking about it too much is the problem.

In cheerier spoiler news, apparently Lex gets split into two people. Do you think that'll square the sexual tension possibilities?
