I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

you can call me bob.

As well for the West Wing: Walken bombed Qumar needlessly because someone accidentally found Zoey while peeing in the woods or something.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

thank you guys.

But did Josh do anything? Was he cute? Did they continue to imply Josh/Donna romance?

How was Leo? What about CJ and Danny? Was there fallout from CJ telling Danny to "post now"?

Art Crawl!!!

Josh got an intern!

I didn't particularly notice any Josh/Donna stuff.

Josh and a run-in with Pres. Goodman's aide -- the one that was the prosecutor on H:LOTS. Which left Josh feeling rather small .

After years of fixing the same tractor over and over because the family couldn't afford a new one...

Why bother having a working tractor at all? Just attach a plow to a yoke and have Clark run through the fields! If anyone stops by, the tractor just happens to be broken down that particular day.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ooh! Katie -- tape received, thank you VERY much. Adelphia is no match for you.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

You're welcome! Enjoy the vicarious experience of fast-forwarding with me. (In retrospect, I could've actually paused and cut out the commercials, but I didn't think of that until I was halfway through.)

Episode as a whole, not very good. Joe and Methos, entertainingly snarky. So it all works out.

It's a remora, dimwit.

I think having Clark doing the plowing himself would probably result in too many jokes about farmers plowing faster with a Super Johnson.

And on this show that would be a problem?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I think they are rebroadcasting Smallville on the WB.

What's amazing is how consistent (or you can read it as one note) Papa Kent has been.

All is well that ends in pizza.
