BG got good ratings Friday night.
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Okay, then does anyone know, in the original series, or in this one, what they established about Earth and Kobol?
Per the mini-series, Kobol is where they all came from and Earth is a legendary thirteenth colony.
Thanks, Katie. I found the miniseries very confusing, but that may have been all on me.
It's theoretically possible I picked that up from discussion, mind you.
Hmmm, there's going to be a 3 Musketeers series on PAX.
That article makes it sound a nightmare.

Have you seen ads for it? It looks AWFUL. Like they are trying to do a whole series in the style of A KNIGHT'S TAIL, and then doing a half-assed job of it. Given that I couldn't bring myself to watch AKT, I'd guess nightmare isn't even close to an overstatement. shudders

This is also true in the original series.
Karen Cliche (and no Vic Webster) is all the strike against it I needed. She's not so much good.

Oh, gods, no. I'm a Musketeers fanatic, and I can't see myself tuning in to that more than once to point and laugh. It looks like Roar with rapiers.
As for the religion on BSG, I have noticed one person saying something like "By the lords of Kobol," which I assume to be their gods. Six, at least, has some kind of sin-based theology that has multiple echoes to Christianity without mentioning any messianic figure so far. I suspect they'll be expanding on matters a bit as things progress. Or I hope so.
