Wait! Did the new episodes of SG-1 and Aquarium already start? I thought it was this friday!
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
(naughty torrenters talking, quester)
I'm trying to make a note of some of the missing MI 5 scenes, quester.
So far, we're missing a lovely scene where Ruth pretends to be pregnant with Harry's child to sneak him a message in hospital, additional team problem solving scenes, including a bondy one where Adam talks to Danny about his wife.
More details as they develop.
Well, here's what I've been wondering if I'm getting right about Aquarium: they need the zm to permanently (relatively) power the city's shield, right? And they need the shield to protect the city from the impending Wraith onslaught. But, yeah, even as I'm typing this, I see that there's a problem. If they had to use the zpm to power the shield, they could still probably plug it into the gate for a homeward bound trip at least once, even if they weren't willing to just abandon Atlantis altogether to get away.
Yeah. Never mind. I don't know. Maybe the city has a Magical Sticking Oulet for a zpm that powers the shield, so they wouldn't be able to disengage it (once they got it just in time to save them from the Wraith ships), and then they'd all be "You know what? I'm so over zpm hunting every damn day. We're here; we're safe. Screw Earth. They've got evil alien issues and no shield."
Or something like that. Mmm hmmm.
Battlestar:
Interesting point. I thoroughly enjoy his scenes wrestling with the Cylon in his brain because it's been a struggle and he's felt guilty/scared. But he did just sort of give over in that ep, didn't he? Hmmm. And randomly, the actor reminds me so much of the actor who played Julian Bashir that it's distracting at times. Her God obsession is fascinating... and I wonder what she means by the term (which, I gather, is sort of the point). I was also interested in seeing the tension play out between Starbuck and Adama over Zack/flight training. But they kind of wussed out on that by putting her in imminent peril of her life so soon. Or maybe they haven't and they'll deal more with it, but I didn't get that impression.
Still, I'm enjoying it. I thought the first ep (after the mini) was especially good with the tension. It's also a slight probability that I have a thing for EJO.
Battlestar: YES, on the Bashir thing. As for the rest -- they're doing a good job with tension, and I enjoy it much more than I'd expected. There are only thirteen eps, so hopefully it stays up.
I did not know that. It's just a short run to test the waters? I hope it does well.
Wait! Did the new episodes of SG-1 and Aquarium already start? I thought it was this friday!
Actually? Next friday, the 21st.
The talking is about downloaded eps, because the Canadians have been getting new Atlantis and SG-1 eps for several weeks.
Battlestar Galactica starts this Friday, though.
ita- thank you! -about MI-5 -I've got to get the DVD's I think.
and, for the clarification of the confusing Sci-Fi talk.

It'd be more fitting if you got tapes, quester.
t knows only quester and I will probably get that.
I cannot even BELIEVE what a Buffy ripoff Smallville just did.
I may have to turn off the teev and go to bed in protest.
