Also, I am a bad Farscape fan, because I didn't even catch the homage with the helmet coming off until someone mentioned it. In my defense, I didn't see the FS pilot until I'd been watching the show for years, so...

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Oh, that homage did make me laugh too. I'm not quite all Prometheus grinchy. But I did wonder if it was homage or pandering. So I'm only mostly grinchy.
Posted a Five Things story for Stargate SG-1. Five Holidays That Jack O'Neill Never Celebrated. Spoilers through to season 6, rated PG. Mostly gen, a little slashiness implied.
Consuela, that was fabulous! I loved the fifth vignette muchly--I'd love to see more of that particular AU.
t blushes Thanks so much, Anne. It was very fun to write, and to come up with twists that hadn't been done to death in the fandom. And yeah, I ended up liking Lantash a lot. I think it would be a kick if they ever went that way. Not that they would, now, because of what happened to Jack. But then? They might have.
I watched Prometheus Unbound last night. Didn't have the chance to post because I had many unput-offable Christmas things to do. So -
I really quite enjoyed the fight. I was giggling through most of it. Especially the hairpulling. I liked that Michael Shanks and Claudia Black seemed to be quite enjoying the silliness. My favourite part however, was as Daniel was letting Whatsername (Vala? Vara?) out of the brig, and Claudia Black had a ginormously adorable cheeky grin on her face. I think I'm in love.
In Stargate: Aquarium news, The Eye is a huge improvement on previous episodes. Especially character-wise.
Oh, God, the hair-pulling! That was the moment I went from "um, not a great fight scene" to "oh! Oh, I get it. Ha!"
I should point out that I think the Invisible Fight Scene in "Gone" is hysterically funny, though. YFSMV.
Hmmm. Prom-Un:
Well. I think I fall somewhere inbetween ita and Katie on the disliked/liked continuum. I sure enjoyed seeing Claudia. I enjoyed Hammond taking Daniel and the chair. I enjoyed Daniel zatting her before the, "Daniel, I just want you to know..." speech. And, I mean, they sure seemed to be setting her up for a return visit, no? It felt completely and utterly like a piece intened to introduce us to her. And bring back Hammond for a show. Sigh, I miss the team. I miss them so much.
All in all, though, I've enjoyed Atlantis' return from hiatus more than SG-1's. Wow, that makes me sad. No offense, Aquarium.
ETA: Oh, and on a shallow note:
Loved the rusty red streak in her hair.
She looked totally hot on stage, Jen. You've seen the pics?
I've seen one, linked from your LJ, I think. With the picture of MS next to her where Ben had been sitting. She's just... I mean, really.
